Cango Caves

The world famous Cango Caves, one of the seven wonders of South Africa, are a 25-minute drive from Sonas. Situated in a limestone ridge parallel to the renowned Swartberg Mountains is the finest dripstone caverns, with their vast halls and towering formations.

Cango Wildlife Ranch

Ostrich Show Farms

Part or Full Day Trips: You may wish to set off on a part or full day trip of your own along the Garden / Klein Karoo route before returning same day to Oudtshoorn. A few examples may include a trip to stunning beaches including the Wilderness, Victoria bay or Mossel Bay, all within a 45-60-minute drive, a trip via the Swartberg Mountains or Meiringspoort to Prince Albert, an outing to Knysna, or alternatively a little further afield to the beautiful Plettenburg Bay.
